Your wish has been granted. Here is a picture of my growing belly. Ryan sucks at taking pictures so this is as good as it gets. If I get any better ones I promise to post them.

i know

I know, I know!!! It's been forever since I posted. So much has happened. For one I started gowing a human inside myself. Unbelievable. I have been so sick but now that the toilet seat impression has been removed from my forehead I have time to write again. Although, I really don't have much to say since my days have been spent working too much and sleeping even more. And I really don't want this blog to turn out to be a gushy, look at me, I'm a mom-to-be blogumentary. So, once I come up with something work sharing, I promise it will be posted.

here are a couple of projects i have been working on. i'm thinking of selling the bags. i even have a vendor willing to sell them but i need to get my ass in gear and start producing. so, i'm looking for feedback. would you buy one? how much would you pay? they are all reversible so it's like two bags in one. any feedback is appreciated.

this project is just for fun. it's a bowl made from magazine pages. my goal is to keep adding on to it so its huge. its about 6" now. there is really no limit as to how big it can get because you can keep adding on forever. it works kinda like a camping cup. it collapses into a disk then you can pull the sides up to make the bowl. it's a good time waster.

since i have no kids my mom considers my cats her grandchildren and buys them christmas gifts. this year she bought them this playstation thing. one of my cats is so skiddish i thought she would hide under the bed for days upon seening the thing. nope. she claimed it as her castle. this is daphne.

then, her friend tried to play too. daphne got so territorial she poped her in the head and made her sit in the box the toy came in. she was traped and daphne wouldn't let her out. this is mayhem.

poor mayhem. anyway, thanks mom. they now share it and they both love it.

i decided to give this new year resolution shit one more shot. afterall, it's still january. since one of my resolutions is to update this blog regularly, this is a good start. things are going well in nyc. i have grown to really love this city. don't get me wrong. a lot about this city sucks. like parking. or how dirty everything is (and i'm from the dirty south!). but there is also so much to love. the architecture. the parks. the convenience. i missed it when i went to n.o. a couple of weeks ago.

speaking of n.o. not much seems to have changed since the storm. i have been back three times since it hit and very little is different each time. it seems to have disappeared from the media except for when the cops are harassing someone or when the mayor gets desperate for a chocolate fix.

so, here is the reason i can't stay away from n.o.

this is my precious niece adriana sophia carter. i heart her so much. she is so smart and beautiful i can't even believe she's real. she makes me want one just like her.

me Posted by Picasa

Hi. My name is Robin.

I love moving to a new city. It is a time to start over, to look inside and become the person you were meant to be. Moving gives you the freedom to express who you are with no one judging you for your past. It is almost as if you control your history. It is truely a rebirth. It is the most freeing feeling there is to know that you can be the person you sincerely are. Some people say I am running from something. They may be right. I however, don't care about the reason, the feeling of freedom remains the same. The downside of starting a new life is the people in your old one are left behind. Then, one day, out of the blue, a blog! This first entry is for my long lost friends, who I never forgot, to be introduced to the person I have become. So, here we go. Hi. My name is Robin. I hope to get to know you...again.
